Sean has spent nearly a decade working in and around government. He was elected to the Madison Common Council in April 2025 and has been fighting for the residents of District 16 every day since.

 

A lifelong Madisonian, proud Eagle Scout, and civil rights advocate, Sean is passionate about public service and making life better for people. As an alder, he has supported small businesses, invested in our public transportation network, sponsored ordinances to address the housing crisis, lobbied the state legislature for greater funding, and advocated to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone.

But there’s still so much work to do to make Madison more affordable, inclusive, and thriving. Sean is ready to continue that fight.
